The Ross-on-Wye App 'Museum Without Walls' now has twelve exhibits, thanks to the work of those involved - you can try it today, see its signs dotted around the town!

It was revealed that up until January 2025, the app had been downloaded just over 2,000 times, but a Freedom of Information request to ask how much public money had been spent on the project was refused citing a technicality of not having to release the sums spent and not seeing the 'point of the request'.

Herefordshire Council and Ross-on-Wye Town Council have revealed large sums have been paid to the project that run into the £10,000s but these payments are unlikely to be the total costs of the project, its creation and promotion which have come mainly from grants of public money.

So, while we're waiting to find out the total...
